Agency matters, because it is unique to each of us.
Agency matters because it is a fluid expression from all of Life through us, and therefore reflects the whole.
Agency matters because in all our individual spaces and places we thread to make one.
Today we see and hear more of ‘agency’
What we have come to realise is that the urgency we are seeking to ‘make right’ all that is ‘wrong’ – we are at the core of. And no amount of rushing the process of our own unravelling / dismantling / derobing / unfrocking / unmasking …. can call into action our next steps.
It is a delicate entwined process that calls for us (loudly) not simply to unravel but to return. And this is one of the essential truths about this moment.
We aren’t to ‘simply’ unlearn all our falsehoods and addictions, rather we are to FIIND our truth.
There is a huge difference in this process.
One says do the work… as scrape and peel and cleanse and cut away and erase and sever and oust and eliminate ….
One says remember who you are, and the work appears softly such that it can be met with grace and ease. Such that we aren’t simply dismantling we are in fact returning.
What I offer here is why that is important from the living system’s perspective
As the physical form, the human form of life, we are her hearts and hands. The agency that we offer is when aligned with life, the actions of life herself.
So in truth when asked why agency matters the answer is:
Because we are in fact the heart and hands of Life herself seeking to mend the tears and extracted destruction we have met with, and each of us holds an intricate energetic resonance as Life for which to heal.
This is why doing the work to release the old system from our being (decolonise our bones and flesh) and allowing ourselves to return to the Living System we know are, as clear channels of truth of life, is essential as we represent life for the good of all in the highest order.
So when in deep alignment, our agency is Life’s agency
And that’s the crazy part right there. Look now; look within, look around, look about … we AS LIFE have made this. Yet reminded daily of Life’s breathless beauty we see ‘other than this’, we see the constant reminder of grace through the colours we wake to, or the moon and stars we look up to, or the relationships we embrace – Life reminding us of our true nature of being – that we fast pace live out of as we shake our heads and ‘get on with it’.
Urgently.
Make something better of this, from this, for this.
But greater than THIS is not possible.
The true THIS of Life, when we meet it – we don’t honour it – we use and abuse it, rather than breathing in the trees we chop them down. Rather than sipping the fresh water we bottle it. Rather than tending to the beauty and nourishment we claim it with labels and sell it back to our own brethren.
We are insane!
Ask anyone choose health or harm – they all choose health. Ask anyone choose tender or brashness – they choose tender. Ask anyone dead or alive – they choose alive AND YET here we are harming with abrasive brutality that destroys all.
But within us, there is Life’s soul line as lineage, Life’s heartbeat as carrier, Life’s wholeness as family.
Why agency – because it is our truth. Our hands know that, our hearts know that, our being and bones know that.
We are summonsed here to this pinnacle point of time in Life, because we each hold AGENCY to the work that is required to be done.
We are called to this crisis daily, how do we approach it? What is that choice?
Are we (YOU) willing to meet that truth and return to our space amongst/alongside/within Life, and be her heart and hands?
Tomorrow we will see, evidenced by today’s action.
