Topics can be connected across forums. Tags can be added to topics or replies when they are being created. You can also add tags to topics you created by editing the topic at a later time. You add tags in the Tags field below the topic content area. Tags are single words or short phrases separated by commas.

For example, if you are creating a topic called “Is Nature Enough?” you might add tags such as “Loyal Rue, naturalism, book”.

If a person searches for any of those words your topic will come up in the search results.

Tags are a way of increasing the ability of searches to find related information.
